A Brave New Blog

So I initially thought that to keep my family safe, I would delete The Cutest Baby In The World blog, as it was open and available to anyone. Fortunately, my computer saavy older sister showed me that you can have a private blog! So if you're reading this, you have an account with blogger and you have been invited to view this blog--which means, we know you and love you!

So I have a whole bunch of new pics of little girl. She is getting so big! I say that alot but I really mean it this time! She has five teeth and a sixth (her third one on the bottom) has begun to break through her gums so we are wildly growing teeth. She is hesitant with walking. She can stand and sit and bend over and pick up a toy and return to standing position. She's even taken a couple of very modest steps but not full-out walking. We will video her beginner's steps soon, however, she is not directable at this time. She does things when she wants to and that includes walking! We try to play the walk-back-and-forth-between-mommy-and-daddy game but she won't play! She gets down and crawls and laughs hysterically. Oh well. :)
She has expanded her food repetoire quite a bit. Some of her favorites include yo-baby yogurt, meatballs, green beans, and bread products. You will see a picture of her with spaghetti all over her face. She also started drinking whole milk about a week ago. Things are going well. She seems to be adapting quite nicely. There is a tiny bit of spitting up but nothing to worry over. We are looking forward to her birthday with much delight. We made our own invitations because we wanted the perfect look. They are being mailed this week. If you don't get one, please forgive us as we tried to make the invite list as succinct as possible. I will post the picture of her invitation so everyone can see it here, too!
I will also be providing a link to Hayden's wish list on Amazon.com. Please don't feel like we expect you to purchase gifts. For those of you who really want to, feel free. But really, presents are definitely not a requirement!
